Our short-term rehabilitation program is devised for residents who wish to regain maximum functional independence in the shortest duration of time. Our 4000 square feet, state of the art rehabilitation gym is located on the top floor of the facility, endowed with bright sunlight and a beautiful view of urban “Queens”.
Post Acute Care at Hillside Manor
Our professional and courteous team of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists are well experienced, multilingual and culturally diverse, providing a friendly and caring environment for residents to train in their activities of daily living (ADL), walking and stair training. Residents utilize our modular stairs, ADL kitchen and bathroom with shower set up to regain skills before they return home to resume normal life.
Our facility is equipped with the Biodex balance system which greatly aids residents in advanced balance training by pushing the limits of stability in order to reduce risks for falls. Our Speech Therapists work with residents to attain maximum swallow function and overcome speech, communication, and cognitive disorders.
